Terms and conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all services of the Croatia Cycling Travel agency.
By booking tour, transfer or some other service you confirm understanding and agreement with this Terms and Conditions.
Booking and Payment Conditions Our tours, transfers or rental services can be booked online (www.croatia-cycling.com) or by e-mail (info@croatia-cycling.com).
After submitting your request, the Agency is obligated to answer on your request with information about the availability and other details of requested service.
When you confirm chosen service, the Agency will send you a reservation with departure time, contact number and other details. any your reservation has been confirmed by Croatia Cycling, we will send you a final invoice.
Full payment is due 7 days prior to the departure date. For reservations made within 60 days of the tour’s depature, final payment is due at the time of booking. All prices in a catalogue, leaflets and on our website are shown in EUR or USD.
Additional charges for changes to service once service begins will be charged on the credit card on file or are to be paid in cash on site. Items included in price are only those specified in the itinerary. Tours that have included guide in the price are arranged in English.
All prices in catalogues and leaflets are per person. There is no price adjustment for arriving late or departing early from a tour, nor for tour participants who do not bike.
Change of reservation Reservation changing must be done via e-mail (info@croatia-cycling.com) or phone at +385 95 515 5715, the latest 14 days before selected departure date.
Requests to change tour or date of an existing reservation will be accommodated based on availability.
The guest is responsible for any additional cancellation fees incurred from hotels etc. Only one date change per reservation is permitted.
Requested changes for the Private tour reservations will be handled on a „case by case“ basis.
Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations must be received in writing or via confirmed e-mail (info@croatia-cycling.com). If the tour is cancelled within 14 days before the tour departure, full refund will be given.
If the tour is cancelled within 3 days before the tour departure and over, you will also be full refunded.
No refunds are possible after the tour begins. Refunds take 2-4 weeks to process from the date written cancellation is received.
For tours we need to reach the minimum number of 2 passengers. If it is not reached, the Agency has right to cancel the tour.
Tour departures/returns Our cycling tours start from Split.
We kindly request our passengers to come 15 minutes before the departure time on the meeting point. Passengers are responsible for their pick up and must be on time on the visible pre agreed pick up place. If passengers don’t show up on the meeting point, without reasonable and proved reason, the money will not be refunded. If any pick up in Split or its surrounding is needed before the tour, please let us know the latest 2 days before the tour departure so that it can be arranged.
After the tour is finished, the last day, our guides will be on your disposal. Drop off is possible anywhere in Dubrovnik (airport, hotel etc.) or anywhere on the way from Dubrovnik to Split.
Please note that the times in the itinerary are variable, everything depends on the traffic, weather conditions and the unpredictable situations.
Liability Croatia Cycling reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables should the necessity arise, including irregularities due to adverse weather or road conditions.
This includes the details of itineraries as they appear on www.croatia-cycling.com. Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum. Croatia Cycling retains the right to cancel, modify or delay any tour at any time for any reason. If Croatia Cycling cancels the tour, travelers will receive a full refund.
No responsibility is taken for expenses due to damages, negligence, weather, war or other unforeseeable causes. Croatia Cycling is not responsible for loss of passports, tickets or other documents, or loss of or damage to luggage, personal property, or other passenger belongings. The estimated hours in the itinerary as indicated on our website are standard times and may vary according to road or weather conditions. However, delays may occur for unforeseen reasons. The company cannot be made responsible for losses that a passenger may face due to delay, regardless whether the loss is direct or indirect.
Croatia Cycling is not liable for any bodily injury or property damage as a result of physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared, forces of nature, road conditions affected by weather conditions, consumption of alcoholic beverages, breakdown of equipment etc.
Physical/Mobility Restrictions Notify your Croatia Cycling advisor of any physical or mobility restrictions so that we can build a trip to best meet your needs. Upon booking, please note these restrictions.
Photography During the Tour Croatia Cycling reserves the right to take photographs and video during the operation of any tour or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes.
By booking a reservation with Croatia Cycling, tour participants agree to allow their images to be used in such media assets.
Tour participants who prefer that their likeness not be used are asked to identify themselves to their tour leader at the beginning of their trip.
Travel Documents and Services To participate in a scheduled departure, travelers must be age 14 or older. Please note that travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Each guest must obtain a passport and any applicable visas for his tour prior to departure.
If a guest is unable to obtain travel documents or is prohibited from entering the destination country, our standard cancellation policy will apply.
Passports must be valid for at least six months after the tour ends. After receiving your deposit, Croatia Cycling will send you a confirmation.
Inform by email Croatia Cycling to arrange you a convenient bicycle, dietary restrictions or any other special request you may have. Croatia Cycling will make every effort to accommodate special requests, but can not guarantee that they will be met.
Insurance Once a tour is booked, all participants are strongly advised to purchase a travel insurance in their country (recommended: adequate medical coverage, cancellation or delay insurance, loss or theft of money and baggage insurance).
Croatia Cycling will not take responsibility for any participant who fails to be properly insured for their journey.
Complaints During the tour, if a problem occurs, complaint should be reported immediately and directly to the supplier or to the tour guide. In the unlikely event that neither the tour guide or the supplier is able to resolve the matter to your complete satisfaction, the typewritten claim with details should be sent to us within 30 days after scheduled return date (at info@croatia-cycling.com) and we will be acknowledged within 60 days. If you fail to follow this procedure, your right to claim compensation may be affected.
Customer Conduct and Privacy Policy Croatia Cycling requires that you agree to follow the basic rules of conduct:
- You will follow these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws.
- You will only provide truthful and accurate information.
- You will not post any content that is obscene or may be hateful or offensive on racial, ethnic, sexual or any other grounds; is harmful, vulgar or distasteful; or is defamatory, libelous, or invades another person’s privacy or proprietary rights.
- You will not collect or store personally identifiable information about any other individual on the Sites, or otherwise stalk, repeatedly contact or harass another user.
- You will not impersonate any other person or misrepresent a relationship with any person or entity, including misrepresenting a relationship with Croatia Cycling; similarly, you will not adopt a false identity if the purpose of doing so is to deceive or defraud another.
- You will not post any content that contains any viruses, cancel bots, Trojan horses, harmful code, or other computer software or program designed to interrupt the Croatia Cycling Sites we provide, users’ ability to enjoy the Sites, or the proper functioning of any software, hardware or equipment or materials used in connection with the Sites.
- You will not use any information on the Sites for any commercial purposes, except as expressly authorized by Croatia Cycling.
- You will not search, mine or link any data or information to or through the Sites without Croatia Cycling’s express consent and authorization.
- You will not send any bulk unsolicited advertising, promotional information, email or other solicitation (including without limitation junk mail, “spam,” chain letters or pyramid schemes of any sort) to any person through the use of the Sites.
If you violate any of the guidelines set forth above, or any other aspect of these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your rights to use the Sites without giving you any notice.
Croatia Cycling is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal things or luggage during the tours. Smoking or alcohol consumption is not permitted on any vehicle.
Changes to These Terms We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these Terms of Use without prior notice. You are encouraged to check this page regularly for changes to the Terms of Use.
Modifications will become effective immediately upon being posted to our Sites, without further notice to you.
Your continued use of any of our Sites after such modifications are posted constitutes an acknowledgement and acceptance of such modifications, and you may not amend these Terms of Use.
